78 illustrated cards that tell the story of the hero’s journey, set against electric the New York City skyline.
In February 2021 the Midnight City Tarot deck successfully launched on Kickstarter. It was fully funded in a day and reached $23k during the campaign.
Since then over 2,000 copies (and counting) have been sold to tarot enthusiasts around the world.
Midnight City Tarot began as a concept in my sketchbook.
Originally a series of black and white drawings that reflected transformative memories from life in New York City.
Each illustration represented a modern look at the archetypes from the tarot.
It evolved into a colorful 78 card tarot deck, guidebook and line of stationery accessories.
